Marathon Training: Day 2
My good friend Clifford and I stepped off for a sprightly six miles at 6 AM. Somebody forgot to turn off the humidity this morning. In attempting to catch up to the large herd that left from Running Wild, I did manage to put too much speed on early. For which I paid later in the run. I am headed to the Jesuit retreat house, Manresa, this weekend for several days of quiet contemplation. It will be a good time to recharge the batteries and make a couple of solo runs, including my first "long" weekend run. I'll miss my running crew.
